Public health initiatives such as bed-nets and indoor spraying with insecticide are important in the fight against malaria. Yet, in Western Province, Zambia, malaria prevalence remains high. Colleagues from the University of Lincoln, UK, with Aberystwyth University worked with the Zambian Ministry of Health to better understand the relationship between malaria transmission and environment in Zambia’s Western Province.
